How it Works
Every situation is unique. Ann begins with understanding you – your background, your student population, your influences and strengths. She then brings together this knowledge with her expertise in education, systems and processes to help you create solution plans.
Starts with Collaboration
In my role leading teaching and learning over the past 20 years I have focused my work on helping building principals and teacher leaders align purpose with focused action. Providing leaders with the tools and support they need to get to deep implementation has been my mission. My interest in developing leaders and systems that create change has led me to Creighton University where, as an Assistant Professor for Educational Leadership, I can research the processes for school improvement and the leadership practices that have the greatest impact on student learning.
Dr. Jason Plourde
“Put simply, most of what I know about school improvement I have learned from Ann Mausbach. She has taught me about the importance of staff feedback letters, the value of student displays of work, the power of using a data consult to drive your school improvement plan, how to develop a professional development plan and to monitor it, as well as, how to align all of the above to successfully change a school’s academic, behavioral, and social climates.” – Dr. Jason Plourde, Executive Director of Universal Services and Supports at Green Hills AEA (Area Education Agency)
“When Dr. Mausbachs name is mentioned, three adjectives come to mind: visionary, relentless, and supportive. She leads strong professional development sessions for principals, and organizes curriculum in achievable sequences.” – Garry Millbourn, Chief of Human Resources, Council Bluffs Community School District
